Devil's Dome Loop Backpack - July 28 to August 4

Long time member Roland Stefani is offering to lead a week-long backpacking trip on the Devil's Dome Loop, a remote and excellent backpacking trail in the North Cascades just east of Ross Lake. For experienced backpackers only. There is plenty of elevation gain, but the pace will it will be slow paced…i.e. frequent rest stops and no racing, and 1 or 2 rest days. Please contact him asap to indicate your interest.

BCMC Centennial "Bug Light" Hike, June 22

This hike will start at the foot of the Grouse Grind on Friday, June 22nd at 7:00 PM. The hike will follow the BCMC trail to the middle of the Cut, the follow the Simic Trail back to the bottom of the Cut.

Quttinirpaaq National Park, July 2007

John S. and Jenny F.'s July 2007 trip to Quttinirpaaq National Park on Ellesmere Island in Canada's High Arctic. This will be a rare opportunity to explore the Tanquary Fiord area and to see musk oxen and the midnight sun.
