These guidelines are intended to assist the Coordinator (CD) in screening the participants in a hike and managing the hike. By following these guidelines, problems can be averted. Please read them carefully and follow them. At first, they may seem overwhelming. After a few trips, they become second nature. The guidelines cannot cover all situations; you may have to rely on your experience, judgment and common sense.
